Hello,
I save and restore the position and dimensions of a form using
'this.DeskTopBo unds'. However, every time I open the form its Height grows
with 19 or so pixels! Is there something I should subtract from the
DeskTopBounds Rectangle's Height value?
Thanks,
Marcel 2 1878

Does your form display at first with 19 or so extra pixels or is it
drawn properly and then grows to the size that is too large? Could you
please post your code so we can help more.

Well, it appears to have to do with a menu on the form. I googled the same
problem: http://www.thescripts.com/forum/thread123940.html
Strange that even now it is still an issue in .NET

I'm implementing some image processing algorithms in C++. I created a
class called 'image' (see declaration below), that will take care of the
memory allocations and some basic (mathematical) stuff. The class will
behave like a std::vector (copy constructor and assignment create a deep
copy), but with 2D indexing.
Now I also need a 'view'...

Folks,
I have an image of a circle, which I am trying to straighten out into a
flat line. I am essentially wanting to look at the image, and read a
straight line from the centre, and then plot this on a graph. Then I want
to rotate the image 1 degree and read the next line down, if you see what I
mean.
My question is, how do I...

Dear ladies and gentlemen:
How to access all the pixels of a bitmap with C#? I am working with
Delphi before. In Delphi, you can use TBitmap.Scanline property to access
all the pixels of a bitmap object. How to do this with C#? Any hints? Thank
you very much.
Best regards.

The function return quite rough pixels.
e.g. if you use Font: Verdana, Font style:Regular, Size:8 and type 60 upper
case
character C, the functuion returns pixels 478.3639, but actualy it occupies
a textbox
that has width 545 pixels, that is about 13% difference. When using the
function to
get pixels and grow a textBox, the textBox is not...

Hi,
IE lets the user set the "Text Size" to use when viewing pages. That
sizing works fine when I view my pages directly in the IE browser, but
the changes don't seem to carry over to VS 2005's design view.
Instead that seems to always be set at "medium". Is there a way in
Visual Studio, similar to IE's, to set the "Text Size" used in...

I'm not entirely sure how this group works: if there is a page I'm
supposed to follow up on or if I should expect an email in reply.
Anyway, here's my question.
I'm very new to Python and PIL, I know how to do this stuff in perl
and ImageMagick, but I'm having issues with Python and PIL.
I need to scale a TIFF image from 1925x588 px to a...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
