extracting frames from popular movie formats

sorry for my bad english, i hope this group is appriopriate for this
question
task i am tryin to do is to write code [c#, managed] to extract some
frames from popular (popular
on a windows platform) movie formats, for example Quick Time (.mov),
Real, WindowsMediaPla yer (.wmv),
mpg, avi, vcd or other formats. Does Anyone Know which sdk-s,
libraries or sample code (or what)
can I use to do this (or at least to do this for 1 of mentioned
formats)?

Thanx In Advance

Hi, I'm trying to use Mark Hammond's win32clipboard module to extract more complex data than just plain ASCII text from the Windows clipboard. For instance, when you select all the content on web page, you can paste it into an app like Frontpage, or something Rich Text-aware, and it will preserve all the formatting, HTML, etc. I'd like to include that behavior in the application I'm writing. In the interactive session below, before I...

Hi! I want to implement a small tool in Python for distributing "patches" and I need Your advice. This application should be able to package all files chosen by a user into a self-extracting.exe so that when you click on it, it will extract the files and run setup.exe which among the other will copy these files into respective folders (the absolute paths could be written in some config file). Of course the files should be extracted first...

Hi! I am having an issue using ASP and frames. I am required to use frames so NOT using them isn't an option. Problem: When a user enters the site they goto survey.asp (this is the frameset page). However when an ASP script redirects to the survey.asp page I get double frames. Meaning, that when the user is returned to the page the orgional frames

Dear Group, I managed to simulate framelike behaviour in mozilla-based browsers by now, but it doesn't work out with Internet Explorer 6. Could someone glance through the code on the Test-Webpages I created and maybe leave me a hint what I have to change to make the CSS-based Layout (1) look like the Frames-based Layout (2)? This is how it looks like:

In IE6 I'm using the following html to have three frames. One of the frames is to open a locally stored MS Word document. <frameset rows="100,1*"> <frame name=SiteHdr src="Development\SiteHeader.html"> <frameset cols="50%,50%"> <frame name=Notes src="file://C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/NotesStarter.doc"> <frame name=Site src="http://www.google.com.au">

I just found this amazing video puzzle game written with the pygame library, which promises to be infinite fun - but I can't get it to decode any video file I own, except the game's own example .mpg. All I have is lots and lots of useless .avi, .mp2, .wmv, and so on... Now, the pygame.Movie documentation says the Movie class can decode `MPEG movie files'. I know little about multimedia, but I thought divx/xvid video was a variant of...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
