C# ScrollBar and Label

Hi,

In my C# windows form, I have a Label which has many words in it.
So I'm thinking using the ScrollBar so I can scroll up and down to see the
whole words.
Would someone tell me how?
Thanks for help.

Use a multi-line textbox instead of a label or create your own read-only
control based on scrollablecontr ol.

I'm writing an IRC client to teach myself C# and have run into a small problem. I'm using a label to display all the text and when the text gets to the bottom of the label it doesn't automatically scroll down so you can't see the new messages. I want to do one of two things if possible. Either get the label to automatically scroll down or add a scroll bar. Preferably, I would like to have both because then it would be possible to see...

I apologize for posting yet another scrollbar question. Here is my code. All I want is for a diagonal line to appear from coordinates (0,0) to (width, height) in a usercontrol regardless of whether the user autoscrolls the usercontrol (other things that are on the usercontrol I want to scroll, but haven't included any here). Here are the steps to reproduce my problem. 1. Launch Visual Studio and create a new Windows application with...

I dragged a datagrid onto a VB.Net WinForm and used the properties page and a few lines of code to set it up, including the DataSource. No wizard setup was used. It works fine except for one thing: there is no vertical scrollbar even there are more lines than can be shown on the datagrid. There is plenty room on the right for the scrollbar but it is not there. If there is a scrollbar property for the .Net datagrid like in the VB6 DBgrid,...

I've got a grid-managed frame, containing a column of Labels, and a corresponding column of Entry widgets. I'd like to be able to display dozens, or even hundreds of rows, and use a vertical scrollbar to scroll through them in the frame. So far i can get a scrollbar to display, but it won't scroll anything. So that's definately wrong. And the columns just chop off at the bottom of the frame, but resizing the window won't make the frame...

Hi everyone, I am working on a module for my GUI that shows one image with an index value below and would use a scrollbar to control which of the images are displayed. The images are stored in a successive folder in the format Pic#, i,e. Pic1, Pic2 etc. What I want to do is make a slider that is attached to a label which would output the slide number that is being looked at. I would use that number then to return the image of the slide...

First, I posted a similar request for help in another group and now don't find the posting. Problem with my newsreader perhaps ... but apologies if this appears as a cross posting. My code is inconsistent in the detection of a vertical scrollbar. This involves situations when less than the client area is needed to hold the small amount of data. The inconsistency is when adjusting the panel size within or just below the bottom row....

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
