I'm putting together a mass mailing application for sending out newsletters
from a site admin area (no spam).
I'm wondering how I can automate the removal of bounced addresses in this
application. The ideal situation would be that returning mail triggers a
script that removes the address of said message's recipient from the list.
I'm thinking about a script that checks the pop3 server of the reply-to
address and parses the inbox to...

Ive developed a web based system where somebody can add a news record using
ASP and MS Access database connectivity. The new record is inserted into the
database and then a formatted email gets send to a list of about 30 email
addresses using CDONTS.
My emailing ASP script works by looping through a recordset containing the
email addresses, the text gets formatted, and then it sends, then moves onto
the next recipient etc etc ...
I...

There seems to be a problem with my emailing code, although during testing
it worked fine. What happens is it sends two emails instead of one, and
also doesn't put any text in the email for some addresses. Its sent as
plain text and as i said when i tested it to 6 email addresses it worked
fine.
my code is below

I discovered, with great excitement, this article
http://www.davison.uk.net/vb2notes.asp when researching methods for
emailing from Access via Notes. Unfortunatly, when I run this I get a
Run-time error. When I run it on an XP machine it crashes, but on an
NT box it just generates an unknown error, handled by the error
handler. I have debugged and stepped through the code and have
narrowed the issue to the point at which the...

I'm having weird problems emailing on the Win2003 Staging
environment - -
the same script runs on multiple other computers, but on this
one, the smtp service is running, but when the send is done (same exact
script as on other working computers), it looks like it posts back, but
nothing is sent - nothing is in any of the MailRoot folders.
This particular script has an attachment, but, just to make
sure, I commented that line out and it...

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with
it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but
I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page
controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like
it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still
submits the form. Also I can't get it to transfer the file in the
upload section. The file name...

I have two questions regarding emailing from Access.
My first question relates to how many email addresses is too much. I
have a client who wants to email 1500 people at once. Is this possible
or smart? what would be a reasonable number?
My second question is related to emailing customers who have an
anniversary or a Birthday. Is it possible to personalize each email with
a name?
TIA

I have a Access database of email addresses that I would like to mass
email to customers. Can Access be used through Outlook? or can it just
be done with Access? I know it is possible to use MailMerge for
snailMail.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
