In ASP.NET:

Response.Cookie s["Name"] = null;

Or do you mean inside a winforms app? The cookies folder holds them
all, just delete the .txt files in there, or you can use the
System.Net.Cook ies namespace.

Do you mean Cookies-Class from System.Net Namespace ? If I'm not wrong
then you can't read local cookies with the Cookies-Class.

I am having this problem: My PHP script will set a cookie, it's there in my /Cookies folder. I delete the cookie (I have to for testing purposes, the PHP script I run behaves according to this cookie existing or not) and run the script again. Everything runs fine, but the cookie is never set again. Does anyone know why this happens? I am using Win2000 Professional with IE 6. Cookies are being set with PHP and Javascript. Thanx Phil

I persist the login info using cookies so that a user doesn't have to login every time they come to our website, unless they previously logged out. Everything works OK on W98 SE, and Windows XP Pro machines. On a W2K machine, IE6.0.2800.1106 SP1, the following function won't delete cookies, or deletes them but they're mysterioulsy re-created when the web page is subsequently referenced. Therefore, a web user can't logout. //...

Hello, I tried the following to delete the cookies Directory.Delete(Environment.GetFolderPath(Environment.SpecialFolder.Cookies ), true); but always get the message that "index.dat" is still in use by another process. Anybody knows what I'm doing wrong? Because I just can't find which process it would be.

Hi. I am having a hard time figuring this one out... I have a sign in page. in my sign in logic, the successful login uses forms authentication and assigns an HttpCookie for the site-wide "user id" (ie. "Welcome BillG ! "). when the user clicks on "signout" from any given page, an XMLHttp call queries a server script (VB.NET) which

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
