Using external style sheetes

Hi,

I'm new to this, so excuse the obvioous questions.
I creating a eb form, that has masterpages set.
I created a style shet. Added that to my project.
Then, in the help files, it suggests to drag the style sheet onto the web
form (this being the masterpage I assume) and a link will be inserted into
the header.
But when I do this, ALl I get is a text value of the path and name of the
style sheet. ANd obviously the styles are not working. However, if I add the
link manually in source to the header section of th master page, then all
work fine.
Can someone explain why the drag and drop did not work, what am I doing
wrong

Thanks
Robert

Hi folks, I found this in some pages: <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid #000000; border-left: 1px solid #000000; background-color:#4080A0;font-weight: bold; color: #000000;" class="myclass"> I've never seen both style and class used in the same element. Is the common? Which wins? What happens?

Greetings. I want to localize a style definition to a portion of an HTML document, but use an external stylesheet. It seems that I can only do <style><!-- @import url(styles/my_style.css);--></style> and <link rel=stylesheet href=styles/my_style.css type=text/css> in the header, which applies to the entire HTML document and is NOT what I want to do. This does not seem to work: <span style = @import url('styles/my_style.css');>

The following is the java script that i am using and i am having trouble in using a class instead of a style tag because simply replacing the style=\"position:absolute;\" tag with class=\"posiAbs\" where in the external css ".posiAbs...

hello. i'm using ASP and my index page is including a header file, and that header file uses some styles defined in an external stylesheet. the problem i'm running into is that in firefox, the styles aren't being applied at all, whereas in IE, they are. so, to test things out, i removed the style from the external stylesheet and made it an internal stylesheet within the index page. turns out that that actually works. so, i've solved...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
