I am working on creating an editable grid (for use in adding,
deleting, and editing rows back to an Oracle database). I have a JSP
that posts back to a servlet, which in turns posts to a WebLogic SFSB
and, from there, to the database.
On the front end, all cells appear as text fields. However, for
certain cells, when the user clicks on the cell, the text field turns
into a drop-down field (i.e. Select object), defaulting to the value...

I am pretty much a newbie with javascript, and would like to get a
little clarification on what I can do with an onChange javascript
event handler.
I have a dynamic page I build with perl and print to the browser which
includes some data displayed and edittable in <FORM> elements. There
are a couple areas where I display a message or a calculated total to
the user based on the initial values of some data elements.
I would like to...

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with
it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but
I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page
controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like
it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still
submits the form. Also I can't get it to transfer the file in the
upload section. The file name...

this script to my forms:
http://www.captain.at/howto-ajax-form-post-get.php

Basically, this will work correctly if I remove all non-form related tags
from the form =eg span, div, but I want to format the form all pretty like
so???
Right now, it only collects 2 parts of the form fields =sites &

I have a gridview control with several data fields. When the user clicks
'edit' for the row I want the user to be able to edit a particular text
field. Under that 'edit' textbox is a button. When they click on the
button it fills in the textbox with some standard text.
Question: In the code for the button how do I reference the textbox
'FreeTextBox1' (for the current edit row)?
Here's the gridview layout...

Hi All.
I am using a GridView to List contacts linked to a logged in User.
I can successfully bind the Gridview with a DataTable. And the values in the GridView are correctly displayed.
I have a BoundField at Index 0 of the GridView which pulls a value from a Column in the DataSource (datatable).
The problem I am facing is that all the values in the cells are coming back as empty strings.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
