Hi All :-)
I found the way to get my column sum (Thanks Cor I did it a little different, but the result is what I wanted) I used:
dt_stat_report_3b.Columns.Add(New DataColumn("Sum", GetType(Double), "sum(Column_10_ld_act_125_gtr_fy_fy_hh_avg)"))
where dt_stat_report_3b is my datatable, Sum is my column name and sum(Column_10_ld_act_125_gtr_fy_fy_hh_avg) is the sum of the column I needed. This Does return me the correct value in the...

I'm trying to investigate the maximum size of different variable types.
I'm using INT as my starting variable for exploration. I know that the
maximum number that the int variable can take is: 65,535. But i'm
trying to write a program to test this, assuming I didn't know this
number in advance. I came up with the following but have two questions.
Maybe someone can help?
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Text;

Hi everyone!
I'm using greece - greek in my control panel's regional options,
and so, my decimal point is the comma (,),
while it is the dot (.) for the sql server db,
however, I'm facing trouble when I need to parse the sql server decimal as
an asp.net double!
For example:

Hi Everyone,
I have a double value (e.g. 2.00) which I would like to convert to string. Simply returning the value using the .ToString() method trims the 0s after the decimal point. I know that its is possible by doing the following
double d1 = 2.00;
string strValue;
strValue = d1.ToString("#,###.00")
However the problem is that I do not know how many 0s there will be after the decimal point before hand. The number...

The following piece of code (between comment /***************/ line )works
fine. You can test is in console/win form/web page. Just print strResult.
/**************************************************/
public delegate double DlgFn(double x);
public static double f1(double x) {
return Math.Exp(-(x * x)); //function to be integrated by Simpson's
rule
}

hi
i need a fast way to do lots of conversion that between
string and numerical value(integer, float, double...), and
boost::lexical_cast is useless, because it runs for a long time,
(about 60 times slower than corresponding C functions)
it's too expensive for my program.
is there any way( library?) to do this fast and safely,
please ?

I'm trying to write a RTF render code in C#. I have the code in C++/MFC and
it works fine, but I have run into a problem with the C# code. I think the
C# code is from Microsoft, and I added scaling to it. The C# code is
working fine on my desktop PC but it cuts off some of the text when I run it
on my laptop. The MFC code works fine both on the laptop and the PC. I
have looked at all the numbers used in the MFC and the C# code and they...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
