Fill Datagrid column by column

How would one fill a datagrid column by column?

I have a function that propagates an array, as array1 runs I want to
have the values fill column 1, when it completes, array2 runs and fills
column 2... so when it's complete row 1 will be array1[0] in column 1,
and array2[0] will be in column 2.

I can't seem to figure out the code to write to a specific column, and
not a whole row.

Thanks in Advance

I've created a web form which fills a DataGrid with a DataSet generated from the SqlDataAdapter.Fill method. The adapter's query takes about 30 seconds to complete when I run it in the SQL Server Query Analyzer, but when I run it from my web page I kept getting a TimeOut exception. So then, as an experiment, I changed the way I created the adapter to the following: SqlConnection conn = new SqlConnection(m_Conn); SqlCommand sqlCommand =...

I have several tables involved in my application, but the two in question here are the company and address tables. The company table has business_address_id and mailing_address_id columns, which are both foreign keys to the address table. So, the stored procedure to which my SelectCommand points to reads as: ALTER PROCEDURE dbo.CompanyInfoByCompanyID ( @companyid int

I have tried several different methods of getting a datagrid to fill with information. Below is the code I'm now using. When viewed in the browser and the text box filled with a parameter value (i.e. CA for Calif), the datagrids header is displayed when the button is clicked, but no data is displayed. I used SQL Profiler and can see that the query comes across with the parameter, and if I take that query string and use it exactly in Query...

Hi, I have dropdown control on my form and after the onchange event I reload a datagrid and fill a textbox embedded in a cell with the text from the invisible next column. Unfortunately the text will not fill on postback. The data is present in the column next to the template column but the textbox will not be filled by the code beneath. I cast the embedded control to a textbox and I am able to change all other properties but the text....

I Do not know how to do it. In the URL field in the property of...

Hi, I can't achieve this. I want to fill a 3-columns datagrid with the result of a sql request for the first 2 column and the result of a stored procedure for the third column. My idea is to create a datatable first and populate it with the first sql request. I've got a dataset that contains the result of the request but I don't know how to loop on it and use it to fill the first two columns of the datatable. Does anybody know how to do...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
