Looking for Enterprise Grade Forum & Blog software package in C#

I am looking for a very good Enterprise Forum with Blog. This will be used
for our public website which serves about 1.5 million users.

This software cannot be cheesy, and must be as flexible as FuseTalk
(www.fusetalk.com). FuseTalk authentication has never worked and their
support is horrible so I'm looking for a better option with much better
support.

Please let me know if you know any good ones out there that are not open
source, we are willing to pay money for it.

This software must be in .NET 2.0, and be able to handle thousands of users,
very open interface to code C# in, and scalable.

It must be highly customizable both in the back end and look & feel using CSS.

Is
http://communityserver.org
scalable enough for you?

It sounds like you have a very, very busy site. I've used CS2.0 and it
works quite well, but we're not nearly as busy as your site!

We're actually trying to integrate Community server with our ASP.NET 2.0
Membership API and Community server has it's own membership API that isn't
gelling well. That software is good by itself but not for integration with
other products is what the rest of our team is finding out.

Are you using the CS2 ASP.NET Authentication integration package that they
have? I haven't used it - but I'd be interested to know if that's what's
not working out well!

The company I work for is about to embark on developing a commercial application that will cost us tens-of-millions to develop. When all is said and done it will have thousands of business objects/classes, some of which will have hundreds-of-thousands of instances stored in a DB. Our clients will probably have somewhere between 50-200 users working on the app during the day, possibly in mutiple offices, and then a large number of batch...

Our company is moving to .NET very rapidly. Can anyone point me towards some .NET commercial software applications? I know of a few really good ones (Databeacon's upcoming reportingware, Riverdeep's Print Shop, Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite). Our mandate is to use all ..NET applications for general business operations and management. What other packages should I be looking at?

Hello, MSDN (amongst other places) is full of helpful advice on ways to do data access, but they all seem geared to wards enterprise applications. Maybe I'm in a minority, but I don't have those sorts of clients. Mine are all small businesses whose sites will never reach those sorts of scales. I deal with businesses whose sites get maybe a few hundred visitors per day (some not even that much) and get no more than ten orders per day....

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
