I'm doing some evil things in Python and I would find it useful to
determine which class a method is bound to when I'm given a method
pointer.
For example:
class Foo(object):
def somemeth(self):
return 42

Sorry for this very dumb question, but I've clearly got a long way to go!
Can someone please help me pass an array into a function. Here's a starting
point.
void TheMainFunc()
{
// Body of code...
TCHAR myArray;
DoStuff(myArray);

From a web-site that teaches optimization for c,
I saw bellow optimization rule.
int fact1_func (int n)
{
int i, fact = 1;
for (i = 1; i <= n; i++)
fact *= i;
return (fact);

I have a custom validation control I have created. One of the actions it
performs is similar to the CustomValidator in that I specify a function to
run, and it goes and runs the function. Previously I had been doing this
with the line:
this.VerifyValidate +=
(VerifyValidateDelegate)Delegate.CreateDelegate(typeof(VerifyValidateDelegat
e), this.Page, m_CustomFunction);
This has worked fine as long as the control resided on an ASPX page....

Hi there,
I've got a web app that uses impersonation and makes calls to a SQL Server
backend. I'd like to be able to automate the setting of database security for
the web app upon deployment. What I'd like to do during installation is the
following:
- run the database creation script
- determine the user context that the ASP.NET worker process is running under
- assign privileges for that user in the new database

I am writing a piece of code for an ASP.NET function that generates an
onKeyPress JavaScript eventhandler that uses the event.keyCode / event.which
properties. I have two situations that I would appreciate any advice on:
1. I know that IE uses event.keyCode to get the key pressed. I have,
however, seen sites that some versions of Netscape use event.which and some
versions use event.keyCode. Does anyone know of a site that lists which one...

Is there a way to determine the path to the php executable (as opposed
to the script. In other words, I am looking for the path to php.exe or
php-win.exe) that is currently running (ie. how was this script called)
on Windows (I'm on Win XP Pro)? WScript/CScript (when programming in
VBScript) allow this, for example.
Failing that, is there any way to conclusively determine whether the
script that is running was invoked from php.exe or...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
