Simulating an event

I'm using a third party tree view control on my web app. I have built a
web control that is used throughout the application.

When a user clicks on a node in the tree, the nodes click event is
fired. This calls a public event that the consuming page can use as
it's up to that page to do what it wants at that time.

I'm trying to add a new feature in the control that will fire the click
event automatically given a certain scenario. The consuming page
requires the event to be fired as the signature is something like
event(object sender, TreeNodeEventAr gs e)

I need to simulate this event but don't know how to create the
"TreeNodeEventA rgs" event. The consuming page is depending on the
EventArgs class to be passed in.

Can someone tell me how to do this?

I have message entry screen that's causing me a bit of an issue. At the moment, there are 2 buttons, one is used to send message to another user (btnSend) and another is used to send messages to all users (btnSendAll). When user hits enter, I also simulate the effect of clicking button (btnSend). However, what I found btnSend doesn't fire (unless I click on the button). The postback function I call is as follows: function...

I've either completely forgotten how to do this or it's different in VB.Net from VB6, but how do I call the routine for a menu click programmatically? (ie I want to simulate and call mnuTest_click). I don't know what arguments to supply in the call. TIA John Dann

Is there a way in javascript to trigger the clicking of the left mouse button. Basically i have a floating div that is translucent (40% opacity) this div covers the whole screen. when a user clicks on this div it disappears. What i would like is if the mouse happens to be over a link then that link should trigger. I imagine i can do a long way which'll involve where is the mouse now, what anchor is there, if its a link then set the...

Hello all, I'm trying to simulate simple electric logic (asynchronous) circuits. By "simple" I mean that I only want to know if I have "current" or "no current" (it's quite digital) and the only elements need to be (with some level of abstraction to my specific problem) - sources (here begin currents) - ground (here end currents)

Hi, I am writing a discrete event simulator and want to simplify the analysis of multipath by trigging an arrival of multipath based on a the receiver distance from sender- say 'd'- and a simulation parameter, say mpParam which gives the fraction of maximum range within which the reflecting surface is located (I know gross simplifications!). Note that for fraction beyond 1, there is no need for any event to be triggered as it will not be...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
