Help!!!
The bitmap I am trying to display in a sample Crystal Report is coming
up with much less quality than the original bitmap.
I have a 300x300 dpi bitmap file that I want to insert at run time into
a Crystal Report. The path to the file is stored in a varchar(100)
field in a table in SQL Server.
The Crystal Report displays the bitmap in the IBlobField object but it

Hello,
I've created a web application using Visual Studio 2005. I have a treeview
control there. When the user expands it and clicks on the link, the treeview
collapses automatically.
Is it possible to keep it expanded to the level the user expanded it? In
other words, to keep the state of the treeview control between postbacks? Of
course I can use frames or something like this, but it should be an easier
way to do this.

Hi
I found the below scripts which are used to dynamically resize the height of
the text area input control. The site I found it on www.webdeveloper.com had
it being called with the following event of the text area control:
onfocus="adjustRows(this)"
The problem is I want these to be called when the control is loaded rather
than onFocus. There can be any number of these text areas on the page as I
have them inside of a datagrid which...

Hi
Due to a hard-drive crash I had to reinstall windows XP from CD and Office profesional xp.
Now when I open the db the treeview control loads and builds perfectly except that I can not see any of the descriptions. All that I can see is the plus sign and the lead line.
When I click on the plus sign the tree expands and collapses perfectly.
Any ideas as to where the problem may lie.
I figure that I am missing some update but which...

I am trying to use a ReportViewer control in a VS 2005 web application
project (not Website project).
When I try to create a new report (local), I can't seem to find any method
to create a datasource. I would like to use an existing class object.
The examples I have found state that the class should be in the App_Code
folder. However a WAP does not have an App_Code folder.
Is there any way to specify a datasource for a local report in a...

I have created a fairly basic composite control consisting of a Label
and a TextBox. In the overridden Render function, I'm creating a
table with two rows and each row contains a cell (td). The Label and
the TextBox are each rendered in one of the cells. Everything renders
fine. The problem is that depending on the column the control
represents I may want the textbox to be a different visible size
during both design and runtime. I...

Hi, everyone.
My problem is a bit too complex to explain in writing, let alone in the title of my post, but I'll give it a shot.
I have a report that has a basic set of columns and rows, but complex calculations are run between cells of each row, and between cells of different rows. Based on these calculations some rows are hidden and some are not.
Now, I need to temporarily store paired data ("date" and "amount") from some of the rows...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
