Hi,
I build an add-in for Visual Studio 2005.
I use the wizzard, I fixed the bug with envdte reference and build my
project immediately after the wizzard.
All seems to work, the add-in is shown in add-in Manager window, but no
button appears in Tools window.
Here is my code:
namespace MyAddinTest

Hi everybody,
I've install Visual studio Team Edition for Testers on my computers,
And I can't seem to find how to show the toolbox.
The documenation says there should be a 'Toolbox' menuitem under 'view' menu,
But I don't have it!
This happens both when editing WinForms & WebForms.
Thanks,
Nadav

Hi,
I'm new to ASP.net, SQL Server and visual studio.net, and I'm having
problem inserting and storing data from a web form to a SQL database.
I created a simple ASP.NET web form, a simple SQL database, a database
connection (using the SQlDataSource Web Control from the Toolbox), and
created the following stored procedure in Visual Studio.Net 2005:

In my VS2003 under the Tools Menu Item is an item :
"C# to VB Converter"
I don't know where it came from and want to move it to VB2005.
I've searched Program Files for file with # in its name an none of them
seems to be the source of that item.
Is it possible to retrieve the file that added that menu item and use it to
add an item to VB2005?

When implementing an interface in VB.NET using Visual Studio .NET 2005, it
would be nice if I could have the method/function headers inserted
automatically. Whenever we implement an event (such as Button.Click,
TextBox.TextChanged, etc.), all we have to do is select the control and
event from the dropdownlists at the top of the editor. Obviously the
interfaces (IPostBackDataHandler, ICallbackEventHandler, etc.) are not
listed there, but...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
