Hi,
I'm desesperate, for long 4 days that I am trying to deploy an application
with crystal reports, and it fails...
I checked the documentation and it says the merge modules necessary to
implement on the installer.. I already put them there and every time I call a
crystal report I have and exception and the log.
I will post it here:

If you are using VS2005 do this (it took me ages to figure this out!):
1. Add a "WebSetup" Project to your solution.
2. Right click on the setup project, select ADD->Project Output - it should
have "Content Files" in it.
3. Right click on the setup project, select Properties
4. Click on "Prerequisi tes" - Select "Microsoft Data Access Components 2.8"
and "Crystal Reports for .Net Framework 2.0"
This will add the crystal reports installer to your deployment project.

I have a transaction log file where the DataSet table's Description column
is actually delimited into "subcolumns" based upon the transaction id. I
would like to parse these into separate fields for reporting purposes and am
wondering if anyone knows if this is easily accomplished using the .NET
version of Crystal Reports?

I have recently created a report in crystal(10) linking to a dataset
as the datasource. I notice however that the fields available in the
report all have STRING format and therefore i cannot change format in
crystal(10) e.g. I wish to change a date field to have the format
dd/MM/yyyy.
The main problem here is that the dataset seems to store data only as
string. Is there anyway i can avoid this.

data from sql server) and I was wondering whish of these is the better tool
.. We're still not sure if they'll be loaded from an existing VB6 application
