Hi,
I have a Stored Procedure that takes about 20 minutes to
fill a Dataset, then I bind it to a report and try to
export in a PDF format. It works with my smaller reports,
but not my biggest - not mentionning the most important.
The error message is the following:
Missing parameter field current value.
It happens when I use the Export() method. I can assure
you that both the SP and the report are working fine when
not used in the web application. Here's a sample of my
code:
[...]
SqlDataAdapter sqlDataAdp = new SqlDataAdapter
(sqlSelectCmd);
sqlSelectCmd.Co mmandType =
System.Data.Com mandType.Stored Procedure;
sqlSelectCmd.Co mmandTimeout = 30*60;
DataSet ds = new DataSet();
int rows = sqlDataAdp.Fill (ds);
SqlConn.Close() ;
ReportDocument rpt = new ReportDocument( );
rpt.Load(Server .MapPath(".") + @"\Reports\" + reportArgs
[1]);
rpt.SetDataSour ce(ds);
string fileName = Server.MapPath( ".") + @"\Reports\" +
Session.Session ID.ToString() + ".pdf";
DiskFileDestina tionOptions dfdo = new
DiskFileDestina tionOptions();
dfdo.DiskFileNa me = fileName;
ExportOptions exp = rpt.ExportOptio ns;
exp.Destination Options = dfdo;
exp.ExportDesti nationType =
ExportDestinati onType.DiskFile ;
exp.ExportForma tType = ExportFormatTyp e.PortableDocFo rmat;
rpt.Export(); // It stops right here

I have a page that uses crystal reports to generate reports from a SQl
server database. As of a week ago everything was working fine, but now I am
all of the sudden getting errors. To the best of my knowledge nothing was
changed on the server.
Here is the error:

In order to save typing, I've borrowed the text from a post of nearly 12
months ago.....but the problem still exists.
I've been banging my head all day with this, so I'm hoping someone has
some suggestions for me:
I'm trying to either print or export some Crystal Reports in asp.net
web application. The reports were made with CR 9.0, get their data
from an SQL Server 2000 database.

Hi all, I have a piece of code in my C# console application to export from
crystal report files to PDF. For some reports files, I get errors below. I
have Crystal Reports 8.5 with service pack installed on my local machine.
What is the reason to cause this "Unknown Query Engine Error"? This is a
report with 3 sub-reports, is there anything missing in my code to handle
this type of reports?
Thanks a lot!

Hello all,
I have created an ASP.NET website that uses Crystal Reports that works on
the localhost (my PC), but when I copy it to the server it does not.
The problem is ExcelUseConstantColumnWidth = False.
On my PC when exporting a report, it works - columns are varible width to
fit the field, from the server it does not - I get constant width columns. I
suspect it is a DLL issue, but so far all my comparisons are coming out the
same.

**Using Visual Studio 2005 and Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Developer

I currently have a multi-threaded C# application that loads a Crystal
Report at runtime, fills out the necessary parameters and then exports
the file to disk.
I export around 5000 reports a day, in about 3 hours (nightly runs of
the day's transactions), but sometimes, without warning or any debug
info, the application locks-up using 100% of the processor...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
