Integrating Flash in Windows Form

VMI
Since I'm interested in developing a screensaver and the animation that I
need to do can be done in Macromedia Flash, would it be possible, would it
be possible to integrate a Flash component into my Windows Form?

Thanks

VMI,
The easiest way I have found to integrate Flash into a Form is to use a
WebBrowser control on the form, and have it load the requisite HTML.

Hi I've got a flash.ocx on a form in which i want play a movie, under this movie i've got a image. Everything is ok, but in flash movie some objects got alpha <> 100 and thru flash i should see elements from background image. I know how to set TransparencyKey in form, i know how to set Opacity, but when i set WMode=transparent it doesn't work - under flash i got white background. My question is how to play flash with alpha?!

Easy. I assume you want to add it to a Windows Form. Just add the "Shockwave Flash Object" to you toolbox and drag it onto a new form. This will then allow you to embed the Flash Active-X control as any other control on a Windows form. You can then set the SWF filename via code or the editor. Note however that this assumes that the user has Flash installed on their machines. I don't think you can legally redistribute the Flash OCX.

Hi all, Assuming I've built a windows form application... how do I connect it to a web service? All the examples of web services I've seen pertain to stand alone applications. Basically, what methods are there in VB.NET to connect the various types of applications together? Is there some sort of messaging system?

I'm trying to add a Macromedia Flash movie to my C# windows project so that I can use it as a screensaver. I was told that the easiest way would be to add a WebBrowser control to my Windows Form and then have it load the Flash movie, but I'm not sure how to do this. I have VS.Net 2005. Also, since I plan...

Hi there. I'm trying to embed a flash movie in my .NET 2.0 form. However, all I see is a white square, no movie is playing. I have done the following: * added a reference to the ShockwaveFlash COM object (c:\windows\system32\macromed\flash\swflash.ocx), * dragged it onto my form * set the Movie property (the movie plays correctly if a double click it from explorer)

I am new to flash and want someone to guide me, Is it possible to create a UI entirely in Flash and that will inetract with C# components (backend) and these components will in return interact with database etc. If flash and C# interaction is possbile then, what are the prons and cons of this interaction? As using flash, one can create wonderful UI. But in return I also want it to interact fully with C# components.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
