Hi,
I've written an addin for MCE in VS2002 and i made the windows installer
file for an add-in acording to the MCE SDK manual.

Everything installs fine, but only on the system, which has VS2002
installed. If i try to install it on the other MCE system it says that: This
addin can only be installed on WindowsXP MCE2005

I have a C++ COM Addin I wrote for Outlook (2002) using VS.Net 2002. Having
completed it, I am now looking to create a setup project and install it on
another machine.
I created a setup project and added it to my solution (selecting the
"Primary Output" as the files to include from my project). However, when I
attempt to build the setup project (assuming a clean output directory), I

I'm trying to create an addin for Outlook 2002 using the one provided
in the demo of win32com as a starting point. I've been able to do my
addin and test it if I go the "standard" way (using the python
interpreter). But now, I want other poeple to use it to I want to
freeze it for windows using py2exe and py2exe is giving me a headache.

Hi,
I developed an Outlook Add In (VB.NET 2005, for Outlook 2003) that sometimes
suddenly stops loading. I've put everywhere in the code Exception Handlers,
but no Exception is catched.
it seems that other add ins aren't loaded afterwarths (nod32).
Does anybody know a way to find out why an outlook add could do this? and
find out after the problem what caused the problem?

I created an Addin Project with the Addin-Project-Wizzard in VS2005. I added
some code from a Knowledge Base How To und built the project.
It worked, and the Addin got registered with Outlook.
Now my questions are:
How an when did the registering took place?
Whre is the informations stored, to wich Application the Addin should be

I'm working on an Outlook-AddIn with VSTO 2005. I'd like to change the
default namespace to something like "Componyname.Projectgroup.Addinname".
But in the property page the default namespace input is disabled.
Why is this so? And, how can I change the defaultnamespace used.

I have a simple Outlook 2003 AddIn created using Outlook 2003 AddIn template
in vs 2008. The full code is given below at the end. I got warnings on
Interop assemblies as I have Office 2007 installed while AddIn is 2003 but
as I need to target both 2003 and 2007 I am sticking to lowest common
denominator.
I installed the AddIn by running the vs 2008 generated setup.
