I would like to change the allocator of e.g. all std::strings, without
changing my code. Is there a portable solution to achieve this?
The only nice solution I can think of, would be a namespace and another
typedef to basic_string:

Hope someone can help here, I'm trying to modify the following code to use
an automation object so I don't have deal with CRAPPY REFERENCES! The
reason being is that this will be going on a number of machines that have
different email programs. This is not going to be a runtime deployment,
just a drag and drop mdb front end.

I saw some posting some time ago regarding a "trick" to automatically
pop up an email editor with attachment using the default mail client.
It is
basically using automation to do the following steps
1. Using Explorer and copy a file, "C:\temp\attachment.txt"
2. Locate the item of type "MAPIMAIL File" in "SendTo" in Explorer
(i.e. the default mail client program)
3. Paste the file to the "MAPIMAIL File" item in "SendTo". This will

But I don't want to clutter the code with the namespace every time I
