I need to build Web Application that will generate a client to execute some
operations.

Each client has running silent application.

Maybe somebody can advice me what can I do ?

Thank you.

Delmar,

Can you be more specific about what you are trying to do? You say you
want to generate a client to execute some operations, but what kind of
client are you looking to generate? What does it do?

Also, a web application can't just automatically push code onto the
client machine and have it run. Web applications don't run like that.

Hi Nicholas !

Thank you for answer.

I have a Web Service on some server machine. Web service waiting for
requests from client machines. Request from client is generating Web Method
with ID - parameter, by this ID Web Service will return byte[] array.

Single byte[] array contains document file, placed on different client
machines too.

Once the web method generated (some client request document ), Web service
checks by ID whose client contain specific document (There is Database table
on server that contain ID, IP of client, full path of the document on the
client ).

From this point I have a problem. I need to tell to the client, which
contain the document, to send me the file. I wrote some client application
for sending the file to the Web Service by calling some method.

After the document was uploaded, it returns to requested client.

The problem is how can I generate client application from the Server.

Actually, I thought if application will make requests to web service every N
times (seconds) and check if there is a new request. But it's seems me very
bad solution. 1000 clients cannot use internet resource for pings.

What solution can I choose.

Thank you !

Then I press F5 to compile and run the web services. However I got the following error...

I expect it will show all web services operations, and allow the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
