Tell DateTime to use different time zone as LocalTime?

Suppose you have code on a server and want to translate between UTC and local time of
clients who are in other time zones. The call ToLocalTime() uses the server's local time.

Is there any way to set a DateTime object to use a different time zone as local time?

I have 4 sites sharing an account on a server that is in the US Eastern time zone. 3 of those sites are for businesses/persons who live in the same time zone, but one is for a restaurant in the US Pacific time zone. For that site, I want to generate content via a script depending on the local Pacific time and day of week. The content will change at the same time every day: one page before 5:00am local time, a different page from 5am...

Hi all, Appreciate if someone can help me out on this. Currently, I have a tm structure holding information of the UTC time, which is very likely to be in the past, meaning not the current time. So, let's say I'm in CST(-6) now, and I want to know the equivalent local time of that tm structure, how do I do that taking into consideration daylight savings adjustments?

Is there an easy way to have an automatically constructed local time zone tzinfo object be used with datetime? Following code shows the problem - the time module works fine mostly (%Z works, but %z does not, but that may be the way it is), uses # The following python code outputs: note the time() modules print EST and EDT (daylight savings), # but datetime does not.

Hi I am trying to deserialize/ Parse a datetime object with the below string "2007-05-14T08:00:00.000+02:30" . If i am in GMT + 2.30 time zone everything's fine however if i am in GMT + 5.30 i get the DateTime object which represents 11.00 AM. Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
