Can't get reference to new version of VB dll

Hi Gang,

I have a web service that references a VB6 dll. There was a bug in the dll
so I fixed it and recompiled. Then I removed the reference in the web
service project and added it back thinking that I would get the new version
but it was the old version. I tried doing it the right way by removing the
old reference, re-compiling the dll and then adding it to the web service
but that does not help. Whatever I do, when I add the dll reference, it is
the old version. I am using Web Developer Express 2005 with C# and I am
saving the project to the IIS directory. Thanks for any ideas.

I'm having a problem with being unable to remove a reference to an old, nonexistent version of a strongly- named assembly. I should mention that my issues arose at the same time I upgraded from v 1.0.3705 to v 1.1.4322 of the framework (and to the 2003 IDE); I've been recompiling old 1.0 components. I had created the assembly and...

This is a C# post. I'm using VB.NET to create an add-in for the Google Sidebar, and have implemented the OnDetailsView method. NOTE : I've come across this same problem (error message) even in C#. I tried placing a label control and setting the reference of this new lable into the 'details_control' parameter. This worked.

The script at the bottom of the html page controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
