Hello, all.
This line has been pestering me, and I can't seem to figure out why the
problem is occuring. I'm trying to paint a GraphicsPath onto a Bitmap,
using the Graphics class, but it always seems to crash, and throw the
"Out of Memory" exception when it comes to the point I need the create
the object. I've been fairly strict with IDisposable.Dis pose(), and
the 'using' as well. It always seems to be at this exact line, when
the exception is thrown, no matter how much memory I seem to have. I
have no recursive procedures, and this isn't at all deep within the
call stack (6 in, according to the debugger). The bitmap is pretty
large, at 6400x4800x16, but the same problem exists at 800x600x16. Graphics g = Graphics.FromIm age(this.Bitmap ) 2 15184

Guess your problem is due to the pixelformat, the PixelFormat16bp pARGB1555,
and PixelFormat16bp pGrayScale are not supported by GDI+.
excerp from Image.FromFile documentation:
Remarks:
If the file does not have a valid image format or if GDI+ does not support
the pixel format of the file, this method throws an OutOfMemoryExce ption
exception.
Willy.
Yep, that did it. Figures, PixelFormat16bp pARGB1555 was the perfect
format for what I'm trying to do. Any idea if, and when this (and the
other GDI+ glitches) will be corrected?

Hi,
I have a problem with a home-made DLL used in an ASP environment. It
is coded in VB6, apartment-threaded.
The DLL returns a binary PNG stream (an image). I use it with ASP's
Response.BinaryWrite to display a dynamic image on a web page.
The server is Windows 2000 SP4.

I have designed a multi-threaded application that manipulates images (CCITT
Group 4 TIFF Images). I'm getting some strange behavior and I'm wondering if
anyone else is seeing the same thing. I run a batch process that reads in
pages of one of these TIFF files, separates them out into different TIFF
files, saves them to a file (in a new thread) and disposes properly of all
the memory that was used.
I run this batch process and monitor the...

Hi all,
This might be one of those things for which there is no workaround. I'm
using A2K2, and using it to perform a very large batch ouput. Both the front
and back ends are MDB files, so no SQL Server involved here. Both SP3 and
Jet SP8 have been updated, and the platform is running on a dual-processor
3Ghz Xeon Win2K3 Server box with 2GB RAM.
The batch run outputs 6 or 7 reports to approximately 16-17,000 snapshot
files None of the...

Hi Group,
I have written a window service wtih SAP.NET Connector which is to
fulfil request from SAP client. SAP client will call a function exposed by
my window service that has a big "out" parameter. That "out" parameter is of
class SAPTable, you can regard that as DataTable.
As everytime SAP client issue request to my window service, it will
connect to oracle and do some searching and return the result in a SAPTable.

Hello,
I have a Java web application using Hibernate to connect to a PostgreSQL

I believe the salient point is the Out Of Memory bit - marked below by

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
