C# - CSharp - WIN32 - WMI Progamming Issues with NT4 (Out of Memory)

Hello,

I am trying to inquire on servers ranging from Windows NT4 SP6a+ to
Windows 2000-2003 I have the program working fine on all but the NT4
where I get a Out of Memory error. Please take a look at the enclosed
project and let me know how I go about resolving this. I can get
results from NT4 server but dont seem to be able to collect everything
I need. I have even tried to only collect just Hotfix data on NT4
servers but I still get Out of Memory error message.

I can be reached at:

Thank You,

I would like to create a "binary" distribution for Windows, but in zip format, since the installer requires root access. I don't want to use sdist because that includes all the C source and the source for generating documentation etc. When I try bdist_dumb, or "bdist --formats=zip", the zip has the files with *absolute* paths, as found on *my* system. This doesn't seem to make sense, since anyone with Python not installed in the same...

I have a resume in PDF format and I want anyone who LEFT-OR-RIGHT clicks the link to force the file to be saved, and in any event _not_ opened. Since the PDF will be in his cache in any event, I would just as soon place the employer in control of what directory he wishes to save it in, and there are two salient reasons for this: 1. I want him to OWN the document 2. I want him to FIND the document, quickly, on his hard drive In any...

I have a Collection that inherits from CollectionBase and Implements IBindingList which I have bound to a DataGrid. So far everything works fine. However, I am missing one piece to the IBindingList that I haven't figured out yet, how to determine which DataGrid column header I clicked on so I can do a custom sort. Right now the sort is rotating just to see that everything works. There are two pieces of the IBindingList that I didn't...

I have created an application that will dynamically load other DLLs (plugins). The new plugin is a winform with an embedded IE Browser. I am wanting to have the form to run in its own thread. This would allow for other plugins and the main application to be free to do other work. I have written a little TestDriver for the plugin and am having some difficulty. If I don't use threads everything works just fine. If I do use threads, upon...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
