While I build the project after making a few changes to it, visual studio
will prompt me :"These project configuration(s) are out of date:...Would you
like to build them?".
It is annoying. What I want to do is make visual studio automatically choose
building projects in such suitation instead of prompting me. How can I make
this? Thanks
(I have asked this question on VStuido group, but no one give me answer. So
I only can post this on...

How can I make code not execute for a debug build, but do
execute for a production build?
I have code which prompts for an account and password when
the program starts up. It is a pain to have to answer that
when I repeatly run the program during debugging, but it
is desired by my client. Presently I just comment it out
when I am debugging, but I was wondering if there was a
more automatic way? Some type of conditional compilation...

Hi Folks
Not sure if this is the right group, if not please re-direct me to the
right one.
Here is my question

error as follows:

I am using PostBuild events in a C# project to run some tasks, but only
when in release configuration mode. The build events run perfectly as
expected when run. The problem comes when I save the project, close
VS, and reopen VS and the project.
When I build again, i get a post-build event error. So I open the
event to look at it. Guess what, it is not the post-build event i
saved. Instead all the carriage returns are replaced with...

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with
it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but
I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page
controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like
it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still
submits the form. Also I can't get it to transfer the file in the
upload section. The file name...

Hello,
In using Solaris Pro Compiler to compile Pro*C code. I am getting this
error:
make: Fatal error in reader: parser_proc_online.mk, line 26: Badly
formed macro assignment
Based on other posts, this error is not related to C but related more
to my lack of understanding. When I look for line 26 in my make file,
it does not correlate to a MACRO assignment. Should I count blank or

Note: You may skip to the end of the article if all you want is the perl code.
Introduction
Many websites have a form or a link you can use to download a file. You click a form button or click on a link and after a moment or two a file download dialog box pops-up in your web browser and prompts you for some instructions, such as “open” or “save“. I’m going to show you how to do that using a perl script.
What You Need

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
