I refined my attempt a little further, and the following code does
seem to work, however it has 2 major problems:
1. Very limited support for XPath features
Basic paths are supported for elements, attributes, ".", and "..",
plus also the "" predicate format is supported -
however, only one predicate per path step is supported, and expr must
be a relative path.
2. Poor performance

I have a stack of DOM elements and I have stored their IDs in an array. I
want to press a button - this code is from that button's event's function-
and have a slideshow as each element is brought to the top, in turn. All
this, with a user definable delay (currently fixed in the code at 5 secs). I
cannot get the loop to stop while the interval timer is counting the time.
Help please :o?

What I need is to generate invoices for customers whom we rent out
equipment.
I will be choosing the date and year say for December 2005 print the
invoices for customer A or B or .../ for all the equipments they have with
them.
This Dec 2005 must be selected by the user through a combo box. I have no

I am looking for a circular buffer solution ( a fixed buffer) , where
the elements can be pushed back & removed front. It looks stl deque
can be a solution. my question is,
1) circular buffer is random access? (i.e implemented over array and
not linked list)
2) if I reserve the required space & do push_back & remove_front so
that total memory doesn't exceed the reserved amount, will the internal
pointers will wrap, or the memory...

to be having some problems with ncurses or so. I have been debugging
this program quite a lot trying to detect where the bug is hiding. If

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
