I have a datagrid for viewing and deleting. Under that I
have a drop down with binded info and a button to add the
select drop down item into database.
1User can view datagrid and delete info.
2User can select from drop down, click add button and add
selection to database.
A)Datagrid binds and deletes fine.
B)If I select the first value of drop down addition to
database works fine.
C)<problem>if I select the 2nd value of drop down it...

Hello,
Is there some article or tip about implementing Footers in
Windows.Forms.DataGrid control?
I have found one example for adding footers to DataGrid, but it is only
adding one row at the end of DataGrid.Rows collection, and footer is
visible only when DataGrid scrolls to the end, so it wont work properly for
grids with Rows.Count > 20 or so.
I suppose it should be implemented in the DataGridColumnStyle Class and
override Paint...

After doing much searching and pinching bits of ideas from here there and
everywhere I came up with a fairly 'clean' solution of including a comboBox
into a dataGrid column.

Another question about trying to wring functionality from a DataGrid...
Have a DB table of "Contacts" -- 14 or more fields per record
Show in datagrid -- but only 5 columns (First,Last, Fax, Phone, Category).
Put an Edit column at the end...
Now what?!
If you go into Edit mode -- you can only edit 5 cells -- not all the rest of
the Record's fields...not enough!

I am using the datagrid. I have allowpaging=true. I load the data and
there is about 7000 records. At the bottom there is pages 1 through 10
and (...). The first time I click on (...) it takes me to pages 11
through 20. If I choose 12 it takes me to page 2. If I choose (...)
it goes to pages 1 through 10 again. In the pageindexChanged event, if
I explicitly set the .CurrentPageindex to a value it works fine. Am I
missing a step...

I have master/detail datagrids where each master row has a detail datagrid.
I have included a linkbutton in the child datagrid's footer to add a new
row. If I click on the add link in more than one child datagrid, each grid
gets a new row with an update/cancel options of the edit template. So far
so good.
However if I click cancel on one child datagrid, all the new rows of all
the child datagrids get cancelled too. I am not sure why this...

I can set the row color based on a certain value in a column. However this
color applies to all 3 datagrida. I would like to set it so that

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
