What is the best way to detect the minimization/maximization of any windows
program currently running?
Do I want to hook the desktop message pump? 2 4991
If you want to do this for any window(excludin g your application in a
different process), you will need to create a system wide hook and trap
relevant message. Keep in mind that when you create a system wide hook, it
will loaded in all processes.

Is there a better way to accomplish this? Is there not one process I can
hook that will let me detect when any window is minimized or restored?

Hi all,
I am using javascript to open a popup window. Is there any way we can
disable the minimize button in this window? The maximize button is
disabled. I want the same for the minimize button.
Here is the javascript code that opens the window :
child = window.open('NewWindow.aspx', null, 'width=850, height=450,
directories=no, menubar=no, resizable=no, scrollbars=no, status=no,
toolbar=no, directories=no');

I've written an app that starts and monitors a number of processes. If
one of those processes dies, the app restarts it. One of the options
I've written hides the main window of the monitored process (since
there are 99 processes, I'm trying to keep the screen clutter to a
minimum). Basicly, I start the app, then minimize, maximize, show, or
hide it based on the option chosen. My problem comes with the actual
app I'm monitoring. It...

We have a windows 2000 server with terminal services activated. Users will
connect using RDP and launch an application. Sometimes, users will minimize
the application when they meant to minimize the terminal server session so
they can get back to their desktop. The permissions set on the terminal
server are such that they cannot maximize the application again. Since the
application remembers it's location or state, the next user that...

Dear all,
I'd like to know if there is any method to minimize command mode window when
a console program is running. In my case, there are several console programs
which run periodically in server. Now, every console program instance will
open a command mode window and they occupy the whole screen. I want to
minimize all of them and maximize it if neccessary by manual. Is it possible
and how to do it? I'm using VB.NET 2005.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
