I can not make the DrawItem event to work on the CheckedListBox control. I
suggestion will be highly appreciated.
I have the following code. The code works for ListBox and the second item
(Two) is displayed in red in the ListBox but the CheckedLIstBox displays
everything in black (where it should be displayed as red).

I have created a button on a Cshape Form and I was wondering if there is
some way to keep track of if the user has clicked down on the button but it
holding the button down. (ex like you click on the arrows on scrollbar to
scroll up and down)
I want to have a counter that goes up the longer the user holds the button
down. Can I do something like this with a MouseDown event or a mouseclick
event? or do I need to use another event.

For some reason I cannot get the OnSelectedIndexChanged event to fire for a
listbox I have on a page. I'm able to populate the listbox with data from a
stored procedure, but cannot trigger the event. I do have EnableViewState =
True for the listbox. I'm imagining (wanting) to populate the listbox named:
lstNames by using the DataValueField from lstDepartments.
It's quite apparent though that the event is not triggering as I can misname...

I have an ownerdrawn listbox that paints items in various colors dependant
upon whether or not it has focus, selected, etc. The code that physically
paints the items is in the drawItem event, and it works... the items change
colors accordingly and the end result is what I expected to get. But it
feels sluggish, like it's painting redundant info or too many times, or
something.
So I carefully debugged the drawitem event and discovered...

Hello,
A probably dumb question...
does anyone know hot to avoid that if one keep the mouse pressed on an
arrow of the numericUpDown it continues to fire events (it uses
evidently a timer) ?
I want 1 event for each click, and no timer activation. I have tried
using disable within the handler but does not work.

Have set ScrollAlwaysVisible and HorizontalScrollbar to true.
I Anchor the listbox T, L, R, B on the parent form
The string items held within the listbox are quite big, much longer than
could be displayed within the Listbox display area.

The onchange event fires in IE6 in a SELECT element when scrolling
through the list with the up and down arrows on the keyboard. In
Firefox it only fires after you hit the enter key, which is the
behaviour I want make happen in IE.
Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
