Currently, we use host AxSHDocVw.AxWeb Browser as an HTML editor.
There are two questions I have with this control:
(1) When the user presses the ENTER key it creates a new paragraph and
as a result, there is an extra line of whitespace created. I can
detect the user has pressed the newline and change it to \r\n.
However, the problem with this are that bullets/numbering no longer
work as they look like the require the \para to work. Secondly, I
cannot get the cursor placed correctly.
Is there a way to simply insert a <br> rather than a <p> or is there a
better way to get just a new-line without all the white space??
(2) We want to be able to insert a standard clause in our HTML editor.
The way the users currently do this is by typing in a one character
code and then hitting F3. I can detect the F3 easily enough, but I
dont know how to get to the character BEFORE the F3. Note this may not
be at the end of the document.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
