Hello,
I need to understand the full scope of changing the Profile.UserName
property when a user goes from anonymous to authenticated. It's read-only and
essential to acquiring profile information.
I'm implementing both a custom Membership and Profile provider. I memtion
this because I'm using the UserName passed in through SettingsContext as my
primary key to locating the user's profile data.

Please look at the "what I've already done" section of this message
before responding to it: I believe that I've done everything that the
people who experience this error are typically told to do.
I have created an ASP.NET web service that I have running on my
development machine, and am trying to get it to run on my test server.
Both machines are running Windows 2000 SP4, IIS 5, and the .NET 2.0
framework.

Hi,
Becuase I use Web Application Project and not Web Site - the only way
I can use the Profile is by installing "Web Profile Generator".
So I reconsider using the Profile (my project is Ajax Enabled Web
Application so I am afraid of new problems after installing).
What are the advantages of using the Profile instead of using a
regular database table - where I can use Insert,Update... commands for
the properties?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
