This is going to seem like a basic OO question, but it comes up and bites me
every now and again.
Suppose we have a multi-tiered protocol to implement, what is the logical,
OO way to design the handler? For example, let's say that we have to
implement the ISO 7-layer protocol, or something like an Allen-Bradley

one line as below.
I need to keep the line (or the functionalilty) but it would be nice
to implement it in a way that gives me a 100% pass with W3C.

I need to implement a Dialog box in my Web application.
The dialog box pops up with "OK", "Show Details", "Show Image" buttons
when the user clicks a marked point on a chart. I need to pass the
numeric value of the point into the Dialog Box.
And after the user selects "Show Details" or "Show Image" buttons, I

Hi!
I'm trying to implement custom button. But I don't want to extend
Button class.
I want to extend Control class.
I want to implement Enable disable functionality.
But unfortunatly when control is in Enable = false state the on click
event is not called but that event is passed to parent object.
How to convince my custom button class not to pass Click events to
parent classes when my class is in Disabled state?
