Problem with picture box on a C# form

I have a few picture boxes on a C# form, with each one loading an image from
a different file. If I run the application on my computer, everything looks
good. If I run the app on any other computer, including the ones with the
screen resolution setup like mine, the images are cut off on the right side.

Does anybody know why this is happening?

Check whether you have set the value of the form's AutoSize property correct.

I posted this (with a different subjetc line) in the ms.public.access.forms newsgroup a few days ago, but haven't had a single response there. I'm hoping maybe someone here can help. Using Access 2002: I have downloaded a tutorial database, which has a form containing a bound object frame to display a picture. The picture field in the underlying table has an OLE Object datatype, and when a picture is inserted (either directly into the...

I posted this with a different subject line (in two posts - I added additional info in the second) in this newsgroup a few days ago, but haven't had a single response. Hopefully, that was because I posted at the weekend, and the experts were all having a well-earned rest and missed it first time around. I'm hoping someone here can help - I've had no joy in other avenues. Now to the problem: Using Access 2002: I have downloaded a...

I am having a frustrating time trying to do a simple insert of a BMP picture into a Bound Object Frame using both VBA and the Insert | Object... dialog. I had a separate post thread going on this and closed it off when I thought I had resolved the problem, but now I am back at square one. So I thought I would start afresh with a new post. Here is the problem... A few months ago, I set up a Bound Object Frame on a form which was tied to...

I have a window Form called "Form2". There is only one button and a panel returned from a static method of the "Coord" in this form. In the panel returned, there is a button that can choose image from "OpenFileDialog" and then display it in a picturebox. This actually works properly before the button1 is clicked. Button1 is a button to open a new form and again it gets a panel returned from the static method inside "Coord" and perform the...

Hi, I have an issue with php and/or mysql. I have a php form that writes "items" to a mysql database, including a description of the item. I am testing it now by putting special characters in the description field, this is what I am entering: Reader's Digest Now, this item data always gets written to the db just fine and shows up in the db as entered. Seems correct and working just fine up to this point.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
