Retrieving a particular Datagrid Cell

How can I code something to pull a particular cells information in a
datagrid and assign it to a variable? I have a button that I want to user
to click on, and when they do this it will pull the information from that
row and assign them into variables. From there I want to do a
Server.Transfer to another form and pass that row information into a
multi-line TextBox on the other form. This is on a webform. I can get the
values by making session variables with and it will pass to the other form,
but that defeats the purpose of a Server.Transfer doesn't it? I also need
to know how to make a new line in a multiline box, when constructing the
display on the called form.
Session["xUnit"] = e.Item.Cells[1].Text;

I need to build a string from the content of a datalist containing a nested datagrid. This properly returns the data from the first cell in the datagrid: String first = GridItem.Cells.Text; However, I can't seem to apply the same technique to the datalist as ³Cells² is not implemented. How does one retrieve the text from a datalist cell...

I am sure this has been asked before, but I was wondering is there some way of getting the data values out of a DataGrid Item without having to resort to indexing into the item's cell collection? I would like to be able to retrieve row column values by DataRowViw object, rather than by index. I know that this can by done by using the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
