I am trying a simple file upload, but cannot make it work on my
localhost. I wrote the following code:
$strFileDir = "/images/gallery/";
$strFileName = $strFileDir . $_FILES;
if (move_uploaded_file($_FILES,$strFileName));
{
echo ("Success");

At first I was not certain what could cause Access 97 from displaying
most jpeg images, but not all. After further testing, it seemed that
all original images of less than 275 pixels per inch or less would
display, but those close to 300 pixels/inch or greater would not (MS
Access cannot recognize the file format xxx.jpg). The larger, original
images were scanned and saved as .bmp (at 300 dpi producing a 15MB
file). Then the images were...

Here is how to build a progress bar in dotnet that doesn't require any
third party components and uses JavaScript on the client side so it
doesn't require any additional post backs.
This script works perfect for uploads, or any operation that requires
a significant amount of processor time on the server.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew of any projects extending the inline upload
progress bar to utilize an inpage image uploader with bar, without having to
refresh or go to a seperate page, nor opening a second box for display of
the progress bar.
I had been using the MegaUpload that was adapted from Raditha's script at
http://www.raditha.com/upload.php . The MegaUpload script I have been using
takes the progress bar inpage,...

I have to create a image web service that when it receives an imageid
parameter it will return a gif image from a file that has been stored on the
server.
The client will be an asp.net web page that calls the web service to render
a vertical strip of images.
After doing some research I am unable to find some vb.net code that can
assist in what I want to achieve.
The closest thing I found was

On my server I have defined several users and given them full rights to two
different folders. The rights for Anon on both folders is set to none - this
produces a username / password dialog upon trying to access the folder. The
two folder names are backdraft and images - both are off the root of my web
folder. I go to my backdraft folder and login, everything is fine - the
index page appears as it should. I can then jump into the images...

Hi,
I have a small table - 2 columns, 5 rows. Col 1 is the key column and
has integer values of 1 through 5. Column 2 is a varbinary(MAX)
column and has jpg images loaded in it. What I want to is to bind a
combobox to this table so that the combobox will display these these
five images in its dropdown list and the user can then select any of
them. Depending on which image is selected, the combobox will display
the image and I will...

I'm developing a php website that I have under subversion version
control. I'm working on an image upload functionality, and in the
middle of it I realized that any files that a user uploads will not be
under version control, and if I checkout or export the site from
version control, and deploy it, it won't bring any of the uploaded
files with it.
I'm looking at php subversion functions, but the manual says that
they're experimental,...

Hello, I'm using tiny MCE plugin on my oscommerce and it is inserting my website URL when I use insert image function in the emails.
The goal is: Make it send the email with the URL http://mghospedagem.com/images/controlpanel.jpg
instead of
http://mghospedagem.comhttp://mghospedagem.com/images/controlpanel.jpg
As u see, there's the website URL before the image URL.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
