Commercial drawing component???

Hi!

I'm a system designer/programmer starting up a new project where we
want to be able to let the end user create graphic pictures.

The application will be web-based using C#. The drawing-area need to
have a bitmap as a background and on that bitmap, the user should be
able to put/create approx. 10 different custom-made objects.
Objects should not be resized. Some should be possible to rotate and
some not. Custom lines with arrows on the end should be able to be
placed on the graph also. They could be attached to an object, but do
not need to be. If they are, they should be automatically moved when
the object is moved. Some of the lines are not just a straight line,
but have a sig-saw shape. These sig-saw lines should be able to extend
without the sig-saw shape being extedned like a accordion.
It must be possible to present a sub-set of all controls to the end
user so that the the user does not see more controls than he/she have
to.

Can anyone please suggest a commecial component that can do all this?

All the best /Hakan Andersson

Hi I have a C# application that should display a chart, the chart drawing is done by a COM object. I have tried to use dllimport with gdi32.dll and created compatibleDC and compatibleBitmap with the hdc from the graphics object. The COM object is trying to draw on the compatibleDC and I try to create a bitmap from the hdc when the c++ drawing is finished. The image is not displaying anything, it is just black. How is it possible to...

Im really stuck with this. I have a propietary GIS system, with a georaphical database (like Oracle Spatial)... with a lot of gis info and maps. The point is ... i actually have a very big and complex subrutine that can read and analize that DB... and generate an spatial output. I can use the the Bitmap object from the System.Drawing namespace and simply draw the output from teh DB.... but it's a bitmap/raster image.

I can get it to draw the grid and activate the autoscroll feature, however I cant get it to scroll properly. I dont want to make the grid a bitmap and move that as the grid can get very large and I want to keep memory and performance as high as possible. Is there an easy way to get the grid to to scroll so that...

I am not a programmer, I'm an engineer trying to make an interface to a product I'm designing. I have used C# to make a form that interrogates the unit via the serial port and receives the data. I want to be able to draw lines in a picturebox based upon certain data points I have received. I dragged a picturebox from the toolbar onto my form, but after having gone through the help files, looking online and trying a variety of things, I...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
