Hi All
I have been trying to add a control to the header cell of
a datagrid on my ASP.NET page. These controls are defined
in the HTML as ASP.NET web controls.
They are being added into the header of the datagrid in
the "ItemDataBound" method of the grid. However, once,
they are added in the grid, i seem to lose the event
handler for the...

Hello Everyone,
When i add a DataGrid to a form, the TopMost property of the form becomes
invalid; i.e. even if the TopMost property is set to "true" the form does
not stay on top of other forms. This is very weird. You can try it out.
I tried a way around. If I reset the form's TopMost property in the
DataGrid's "Paint" event, it works....

I have a separate thread that handles data transfer operations (with a mobile
device). I've set things up so that a small notification form is displayed
in the lower right corner of the window. This all works fine.
But what I can't figure out how to do is to get it to display on top of my
main form, if the main form is maximized. I've...

Hi,
How can I have a form that is TopMost only within the application it
belongs to?
1.I can't use ShowDialog, as it would be modal and I want the user to
be able to interact with controls in the main form.
2.TopMost property makes it being above ALL windows, including those
that do not belong to the application. I don't want that to...

I have an MDI form that has 4 child forms that are locked on top of any
other child form in the MDI. I want to unlock these 4 forms so they are
not always on top of all the other forms in the MDI. When I set
ChildForm1.TopMost = false;
It does nothing. Is there another another property I should be looking
at?
Thanks!

Hi,
I have a dialog box that must behave as MessageBox does
with regard to the TopMost property. It must be TopMost if
and only if the calling form is TopMost. A static method
creates the dialog box. Is there a way of determining if the
application is TopMost from a static method?
There are some inelegant workarounds but I would...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
