Using DataGrid in a form makes the TopMost property invalid -- DataGrid bug?

Hello Everyone,

When i add a DataGrid to a form, the TopMost property of the form becomes
invalid; i.e. even if the TopMost property is set to "true" the form does
not stay on top of other forms. This is very weird. You can try it out.

I tried a way around. If I reset the form's TopMost property in the
DataGrid's "Paint" event, it works.

Can anyone please give me an alternative solution. Thanks.

Regards,
Sajjad

I have an MDI form that has 4 child forms that are locked on top of any other child form in the MDI. I want to unlock these 4 forms so they are not always on top of all the other forms in the MDI. When I set ChildForm1.TopMost = false; It does nothing. Is there another another property I should be looking at? Thanks!

Hi, I have a dialog box that must behave as MessageBox does with regard to the TopMost property. It must be TopMost if and only if the calling form is TopMost. A static method creates the dialog box. Is there a way of determining if the application is TopMost from a static method? There are some inelegant workarounds but I would...
