Hello Everyone,
When i add a DataGrid to a form, the TopMost property of the form becomes
invalid; i.e. even if the TopMost property is set to "true" the form does
not stay on top of other forms. This is very weird. You can try it out.
I tried a way around. If I reset the form's TopMost property in the
DataGrid's "Paint" event, it works....

Using:
DataGrid1_ItemCommand(ByVal source As Object, ByVal e As
System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGridCommandEventArgs) Handles
DataGrid1.ItemCommand
is there a way to find a specific item in the datagrid. I'm using the
CommandEvent to do some stuff. When I try to use syntax like this:
e.Item(1).FindControl("txtQuestion"), TextBox).Text

I have a datagrid that displays editable text fields (2 different price
fields) and a checkbox in every row.
It has a "SaveChanges" button at the bottom, which, when pressed, looks at
every checkbox in the datagrid, if it is checked, it updates the
corresponding rows prices.
That works, no problem.
What I need to do is that when a user...

I learned about the TopMost property from a recent post which solved some
problems.
But I have a situation where a control wants to make the form it is on be
the topmost.
It could raise an event but be cleaner if it could do it directly.
I tried the following but the compiler thinks Parent is a control (they
don't have a topmost...

Hi folks,
I have a DropDownList in a DataGrid that is populated from records in a
database.
I want to add a value that might be a string such as "Select a Company" for
the first item since an OnSelectedIndex event is not fired if you select the
first item.
Does anyone know of an easy way to do this?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
