Hi !
I have an ISAPI instalation of PHP over IIS5 server
on Windows 2000. Everything works fine but as I am
under website development I would like to keep
PHP error messages turned on - for my development
purpose. Unfortunately, that concludes that in case
somebody types a fake address like: http://www.myurl/xyz.php
the server replies with something like that:

I have some CGI programs that spit out error pages when the user enters
illegal form input. These custom error pages, while informing the user of
errors, are otherwise just standard web pages.
Is there a disadvantage to not spitting out a 404 error? I assume 404 isn't
just another webpage, but carries with it the information that an error
occured---in so simple a manner that it could be used for e.g. link
checking.
TIA,

I am having issues with a production server with the GetLastError()
method. Here is what I am doing:
Application_Error on Global ASAX:
Note: I am doing it this way (with ClearError) because while
researching, someone on a post said that Session state would not
persist unless I cleared the error... didn't make sense, but it also
didn't work before I put this in there too.

dear all,
i am a bit confused on the way custom error are handling and occurs.
First of all I have understand that customer error is used to defined more
user friendly message to my end user and that custom errors mask out more
details error if the web side is access from the local web server browser
right ?
If it is so I have read that setting the mode attribute to OFF in web.config

I learned most of what I know by the excellent Access/VBA forum from bytes.com (formerly thescripts.com).

I would be using layman's words, or maybe, my own words as how I understand them, hoping, you will understand it the same way that...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
