I have a vb.net dll that has two functions: one allows a user to change
their password in AD, the second allows the user to view their
distinguishedname (based on their samaccountname). Both bind via an
SSL connection and appear to work well.
I am implementing the dll through an asp interface on the DC that holds

Hi all!
I'm trying to use a named EventWaitHandle to signal events between processes
that run on the same computer. One of them is a service running as SYSTEM and
the other one is a normal user. Creating the handle seems to be no problem,
but when the other process is calling EventWaitHandle.OpenExisting with the
same name, an UnauthorizedAccessException is thrown with the message "Access
to the path is denied.".

In a sharepoint setup using smartpart to load our user controls using
enterprise blocks (data) we are getting some strange errors (logged to
the event log). We dont get the error all the time. When we get the
error CPU goes 100%
We have been through all we can think of, but have not been able to
locate the source to the error.
