I have a aplication which hosts an axWebbrowser. This activex component needs about 10 to 15 mb of memory.
Because i have a option to move the aplication to tray icon and do some timer work i don't want that it just spends over 10mb for nothing.
So i remove the axwebbrowser with
axwebbrowser1.dispose()
which works fine. After show the application back from the tray icon i will
implement the axwebbrowser again with the same i did it...

Is it possible to use nested MDIContainers?
In Visual C#, I want to use another MdiContainer in a MdiContainer.
But it gives error, saying that an MdiContainer cannot be child at the same
time....

I'm trying to use the AxSHDocVw.AxWebBrowser control in a form and when I
call .Navigate, instead of showing the html page, the download prompt shows
up. If I click open, it uses my default browser instead of the control.
If I open an excel doc or a word doc on my local HD, it shows up in the
control after I click open.
Does anyone know what I should check, to get the control opening HTML pages
in itself instead of the default browser?

I have used the AxWebBrowser in a Visual Basic Project...
I found that both Framework 1.0 and 1.1 had to be installed for it to work
properly.
I now have found that in Studio 2003, that the probablem has come back even
if both are installed.
When I open a windows form that has the Browser on it and try to Navigate to
a page using the OnEnter or OnLoad events, the page just sits there and does

I have a problem when I try to open an excel document in a AxWebBrowser Component in VB.NET.
The problem appear in this situation:
Before to all the Excel application is opened from the user with some document xls.
After that my application open an excel document (can be another document) using the component AxWebBrowser
Then the first applications have problem when I try to modify the document.

I have a form with 4 pannels docked to the form, each other, with splitters,
ect. that I can drag and change the size of the pannels... I need to place
this form in an MDIcontainer form. The goal is to compensate for different
screen resolutions. I am thinking placing this form with all the pannels in

It appears that I cannot correctly install the AxWebBrowser in VS2005.
I can instantiate an "AxWebBrowser browser" and refer to its members,
properties, and methods. I'm having trouble with the AxWebBrowser.Document:

Hi, i am using axWebBrowser object to display pdf's and excel
spreasheet drag dropped onto it. the trouble is once a file is
displayed in the browser it is not released. even if i close the
window, which should dispose of the webbrowser object, my files are
locked and may not be moved or renamed. any ideas how to release the
files when i navigate away from them.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
