Visual Studio 2003 C# Windows:
I have a tree view control as my main menu control down the left side of my
application. This has 2 Parent Nodes on it (Jobs and Employees). beneath
these 2 main functions I have 2 sub functions under each("Add Job", "View
Jobs" and "Add User", "View Users"). I have theses subfunctions grouped in a
TabControl, so there are 2 TabControl objects on my main screen, each with 2
pages on.

I'd like to have a show/hide widget on my web site, kind of like "show
details" / "hide details" in Google Groups. Is there a tutorial
explaining how to make them? Google's is a bit complex and it's easy to
get something wrong. If the browser does not support the required
features, I want it to generate a completely static page with the
"details" shown automatically.

Is there a way to constract a derived class that hides certain public members of a base class ?
With the following code, a class that derives from DerivedClass can still see the member "Name" in the base class. Can anyone provide me with an example that will do what I need?

I'm displaying comments people have made. Below each persons' comment
I want to add 2 buttons "Reply" and "Amend". Clicking "Reply" would
display an empty text field below the comment with a spell check &
submit button. Clicking "Amend" would display the same buttons & text

I have found and addapted a script that displays or hides a div tag
based on it's current class tag, but i can't seem to get it to work. I
am new to Java, and i know that everything has to be perfect in order
for it to function.

Hi,
I derived a control to create my custom control.
However, some of the control base properties are useless from my point
of view and i would like to avoid control user to change them.
How can i do that ?
I need to hide them from Property window editor but also to make them
not reachable via code line.

If I create a UserControl that inherits from, say, Panel, and I do not want
my UserControl to have a property that it inherits from Panel. How can I
remove it.
For example, I might not want by control to have a BackColor property even

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
