There is a Summary/Example further down...
On page one of my site I have a form with some checkboxes and detailed
descriptions. When the form is submitted (to page two), the values of
the checkboxes are picked up using $_POST and put into session
variables. On page two there is another form which is simply a
condensed version of the previous one (titles with no descriptions).
The checkboxes are named the same on both forms.
When...

I currently have the following JS in my header:

This works fine - but the problem is that it doesn't work with my

Hello,
Fiest of all let me thank this group for so quick in responding to any
postings.
I am using a javascript based utility from a site to sort the columns
of the table. But, for some strange reason it is not working on colmuns
containg checkboxes, text-boxes (or, any user input fileds). For
checkbox column, the values are lost when clicked on the column title
to sort.
I tried a lot to modify but couldnt achive what I wanted.

Hi,
When we are sorting the DataGrid Boolean column the grid is becoming
redcross.
I have my own PPMIPDataGridBoolColumn class inherited from
System.Windows.Forms.DataGridBoolColumn. In this inherited class I have one
DataGridValueChangedEventHandler event handler. I am overriding Edit() to
know the current state of the cell. I am overriding Paint() to know the if
the user has been editing the cell. I am also overriding the Commit() to

I have been scouring the message boards before I posted this question hoping
to find an answer regarding datagrids and their behaviour after a sort
command has been invoked.
What I am trying to accomplish is this:
I have a datagrid that has several columns directly bound from data table
and on each row of the grid, the user has the ability to select that person
displayed. When the user does NOT sort this grid their selections are...

I have a form with some textboxes, checkboxes, and comboboxes that are
databound to the "Packages" table in a dataset.
For Example:
Me.txtFirstName.DataBindings.Add(New Binding("Text", DS,
"Packages.FirstName"))
and I navigate with statements like:
Me.BindingContext(Me.DS, "Packages").Position += 1

Hi all,
I posted a question about a checkbox template column that needs to keep its
values after a column in a GridView is sorted. This checkbox is bound to a
bit field in the database, and I am able to update its content by handling
the oncheckedchanged event. However, I do not know how to make it possible
to display the right state after the sorting happens. Initially I have
cached the gridview in the viewstate when the page loads, but...

All the rows in a DataGrid, including the Header, are accompanied with
a CheckBox. I want that when the CheckBox in the Header is checked,
then all the CheckBoxes should automatically get checked. I set the
AutoPostBack property of the CheckBox in the Header to True & am
invoking a sub named 'CheckAllRows' on the CheckedChanged event of this
CheckBox. The CheckBox in the Header exists within the HeaderTemplate
of a TemplateColumn in the...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
