I have got an event below to remove items from an arraylist and then to
rebind the arraylist to the datagrid subsequently deleting the appropriate
row. My problem is that my code makes sense and I think my logic seems fine
but when I click the button on my datagrid nothing seems to happen. Have you
any idea where Im going wrong. Was thinking it might have something to do
with my page load/ postback but not really sure. Can someone please...

I have a datagrid populated from a dataset. I have a TemplateColumn with a DropDownList (DDL) in the FooterItemTemplate that is populated in the Page_Load event using a Sub Routine as the DataSource of the DDL. The FooterItemTemplate's DDL populates as expected when the DataGrid's DataBind method is called.

I have read many posts and seen many papers on the different
techniques for sort and filtering datagrids. Many do re-queries
against the dB ala Fritz Onion. I am trying to leverage the Dataview.
The following control simply responds to a sort request and/or a
pageing reqeust with an empty table (header only). Any ideas ?

Good day, I have a specific case of the DataGrid in my solution which is
causing the ItemCommand Event Not Firing.
So I'm creating a "Skinnable" set of controls. I seperate the actual ASCX
file and .CS file. When I initialize my .CS file, in that code there is a
method that goes:
Page.LoadControl(FILENAME)
Which associates a .ascx file with my .CS file, allowing me to plug in any

show the datagrid even when no results are found? I.e., and empty

I have a DataGrid on my ASPX and I'm confused about the interaction with the
page based on whether the page is just loading or is being reloaded with a
call to the SortCommand of the DataGrid:
If I do the SQL query and the DataGrid.DataBind() in the Page_Load(), and
then I do it AGAIN inside the SortCommand function I set up, everyhting works
fine. But that seems inefficient because it means that the
DataGrid.DataBind() gets called...
