I've made a wxWindow class, where i need to paint myself the content.
so i've added an evt_paint() to draw in the wxPaintDC ...
It works like a charm !! superb
To trigg the painter event, in some codes, i use the Refresh() method
It works greatly !

I was able to get the DC of the desktop to draw on it, but now i need the functionality to refresh the desktop and delete the drawing i made. At this time i "solve" the problem by showing and closing a generated form with desktop dimensions, but it's not really a solving, cause it doesn't affect the area out of the working area and it is not a prof. way

Hello all,
Quick question!
How would i keep a point inside a region? For example, the mouse pointer.
You should be able to move the mouse around in this region but not anywhere
outside it.

picDocument is a picturebox
When I do picDocument.Invalidate() the box paints.
But if instead I do picDocument.Refresh() the box does not paint.
What does Refresh do. I guessed it did an Invalidate and an Update.
Can someone shed some light?

I know that Invalidate allows you to invalidate only part of the client area and Refresh allows you to force the entire client area to update right now, but is there any way to force part of the client area (e.g., only the invalidated regions) to update right now (without using DoEvents)?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
