Printing content of RichTextBox (as described here (in C#)
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;812425)
results in white background of the text printed. Is there any way of
sending the content of rich text box to printe and specifying
different background color?
Any suggestion is more than appreciated!
Thanx All!

Hi there
How can I read a RTF file into a RichTextBox control without the original
format being lost? And how can I
save the text entered in a RichTextBox into a RTF file without the original
format being lost? It seems I can't use
System.IO.StreamReader. Is there any thing I can use to do this?
Many thanks

Hiyall!
I have a RichTextBox inside a UserControl which should be able to
indent a block off text (or UnIndent for that matter) like the
SourceEditor of VS2003 or WinWord does.
All controls on the form (except for the RichTextBox) have
TabStop=False and I have a KeyDown event handler which calls the
IndentSelection function. No problem with the indenting (I've watched
when stepping through the code) except.. The e.Handled does not seem...

When you give focus to a RichTextBox, then it goes to the textCursor, but i
don't want to give the richtextbox focus, cause there is being written a lot
in it, and I have to do something else at the same time, then if I don't
give it focus, and I add some text to it, then it don't automaticly scrolls
down to the textcursor, is there a way to make the RichTextBox scroll down
to the textcursor, without giving it focus??

The documentation for the RichTextBox is sketchy at best. I want to do a
very simple task but I cannot find information on this. I am using a
RichTextBox as an output window. Some text I want to just add plain (e.g..
rtf.Text += "new stuff..."; ) but some text, when added, I want to be in a
different color or font size. Find() will not work because the text will
vary. I have delimiters on it so I could recognize it with a regular ...

I want 3 lines of green bars in richtextbox to be displayed every
other 3 lines which can be toggled on and off.
(3 lines of white background, 3 lines of green background, 3 lines of
white background, ... and so on)
This would make the content in my richtextbox easier to read.
Please give me any suggestions to accomplish this.

Hello,
I want to use a richtextbox for logging status messages. I have three kind of message types and want to use different formatting for them.
My problem is, I change the color, add the text and the added text is shown in another color. I scroll to the end and want to add the next status line using appendtext. But now the previous line lost its formatting......
I want to keep the formatting… Do you have a solution? BTW I am using...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
