Printing content of RichTextBox (as described here (in C#) http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;812425) results in white background of the text printed. Is there any way of sending the content of rich text box to printe and specifying different background color? Any suggestion is more than appreciated! Thanx All!

Hi, thanks to the insight that Kevin Spencer gave me concerning my regular expressions question from a few days ago, I managed to create a first version of my (free) Highlighter RichTextBox control. In short: it highlights portions of text in specified (fore- and background)colors, with a specified parser. I found a number of controls on the net, but all of them had some problems: mostly performance issues with larger texts and...

I want 3 lines of green bars in richtextbox to be displayed every other 3 lines which can be toggled on and off. (3 lines of white background, 3 lines of green background, 3 lines of white background, ... and so on) This would make the content in my richtextbox easier to read. Please give me any suggestions to accomplish this.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
