Events - Daily or Weekly

Hi There,

I am creating an ASP .NET C# web site.

Just wondering how can I get an event to occur at the same time every
day.

E.G. I want the site to automatically email me every day with the
contents of a log file.

Thanks,

Peter.

The easiest way to do this is to write a regular console application that
has this functionality. Then schedule it to run at a particular time every
day using the Scheduler in windows.

Scheduled tasks like this are not something that fit into ASP.NET. The
request/response nature of web applications can't accomplish time based
tasks that really have nothing to do with a user request.
