I am setting-up an experimental web service using Apache Axis but I'm having problems. AXIS can't find a library that I've verified exists on my computer and that CLASSPATH points to it.
I'm using a simple service for testing purposes (1 string IN, 1 string OUT) and I've found where the exception occures but not why.
But I've exhausted my...

I am trying to plot pair using the XY scatter chart in Access and
place it into a report. I want my x-axis to have "Age" values and the
y-axis to have "Gross Area" values, both pulled using a query I
created. Since the chart dialogue boxes only ask for the Y data
series with an arbitrary X coordinate of 1, is there any way I can
change...

Hi,
I want to create a chart
value (y-axis) vs. time (x-axis). In fact very similar to the
xy(scatter) example in the graph10.chm help-file.
I ran into problems, so I started a very basic *.mdb file.
It contains one table with ID, Date, and Price (Value) Column
ID is automatically assigned
Date is in the short date format

I have a scatter chart that's based on a SQL Stored Procedure.
Procedure works great, but when I apply it to the chart, the X axis
returns a series of numbers that I think are record numbers. The value
that should be returned is a project number. What am I doing wrong
here?

This probably isn't the right group for this kind of question but I figured
I would take a shot...
I want to remove points that skew a scatter plot. For example 20 data points
are around -75 to 100 on the Y axis but a couple of points are at 1500 and a
couple at -500
How would I figure which points should be removed? Of course I want to...

Dim xy As Integer
xy = 1
MsgBox(++xy)
Why is ++xy not considered a syntax error. Does it do anything?
(it doesn't increment xy, as c# programmers might expect)

Summary:
I have been trying to make requests of a web service provided by Axis using
a dotnet client with code generated by wsdl.exe and have
been getting exceptions when trying to process the response.
As a result of seraching news groups I guessed that the SOAP response
defines an array element in a way that causes the dotnet...

I wonder if you can help me - I'm new to this, and working in a project that has already been configured to work with Axis.
We have a Java project built with the Spring framework, in order to provide webservices for access via SOAP. As I understand it (ie not very well!) Axis works to accept these SOAP messages from the client and transform...

Some folks have searched, from time to time, for a dual axis MSChart
with different scales on the two Y axes. The sample, extracted from
running code I wrote, produces a graph with MSChart (VB9) which shows a
time axis on X and two somewhat different value ranges on Y and Y2.
This code produces two axes with positive and negative values, if...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
