This is something I had never seen before.
On an aspx page, upon pressing a link button for which I have an event
handler in the code behind, the screen shows nothing but a line that says
"true" up in the right upper corner of the browser.
I have an XP and had just installed XP Service Pack II...against my better
judgment. Please help. Thanks.

Hello and apologies in advance for the amount of code in this post. I've
also sent this message to the Sharepoint group, but thought that ASP.NET
developers may also be able to help, even though it's a Sharepoint WebPart.
I'm trying to do something fairly simple, create a datagrid that displays
where
and when a person works and allows them to change some of the information
via DropDownLists.
When the user clicks to edit a row, three of...

Hi everyone,
I have a DataGrid with several TemplateColumns. One of these columns has an
EditItemTemplate that contains an ASP.Net DropDownList. I'm catching this
DropDownList's SelectedIndexChanged event.
I also have another TemplateColumn, with a RequiredFieldValidator that
validates a TextBox in the column. It all looks like this, in broad
strokes:

Hi,
I have a detailsview with two fields: in editmode, one is a textbox and the
other is a dropdownlist.
i want to update both fields using the detailsview.
My problem: when clicking on the edit button, the modified text in the
textbox is effectively updated in the table, but instead of updating the
chosen value of the dropdownlist, the field in the table becomes empty (old
value is updated by nothing).
The items of the dropdownlist...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
